City of Boston Makes e-Cargo Bike Available to Employees Through Pilot Program – SmartCitiesWorld
Supporting Go Boston 2030’s goal of encouraging low-emission modes of travel, the bikes are available to any City employee for attending meetings across town.
The New Mobility team at Boston Transportation has documented some of the highlights of its e-cargo bike pilot programme for City employees, which has been operating for five months.
This recent e-cargo bike initiative involves four new e-cargo bikes equipped with a number of accessories such as waterproof bags, cell phone handlebar holders and metal racks.
