WALKING

Walking is the best way to get to work: it costs nothing, admits zero emissions and promotes physical health. Consider your general health and the route to work when deciding if this commute alternative is right for you. Typically, most walkers commute about two miles one-way to work. Remember, if you are unable to walk to work, you can always walk to a public transit stop and take two alternatives to work!

LUNCH AND LEARN WORKSHOPS

GVF works with employees to educate them on the benefits of alternative transportation by organizing educational seminars at employer locations. GVF can also conduct an analysis of employee’s commuting habits to ensure relevant commuting alternatives are suggested. Contact Stacey Henrich for more information.
