Chester County Releases Transportation Priority Projects
In support of the Landscapes3 Connect recommendation to "advance implementation of transportation improvements," the Chester County Planning Commission works with a committee of transportation planning partners and county agencies as well as Chester County elected officials including PA House Representatives, PA Senators, and the Chester County Commissioners to identify and promote Chester County's Transportation Priority Projects.
This effort begins with the biennial Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) update process and results in the production of the Transportation Priority Projects brochure sent to the Chair of the State Transportation Commission. This brochure identifies the top Roadway, Public Transit, and Bicycle & Pedestrian priority projects for advancement to both address the transportation goals of Landscapes3 and provide for an efficient and reliable multimodal transportation system in Chester County.
